About Antedium
Antedium is a lightweight chat improvement bot that aims to improve the ease of use for Discord as a messaging platform.
Currently the bot provides an automatic link replacement function, which replaces some social media links with an improved alternative (eg. twitter.com -> fxtwitter.com) to allow video files on external websites to be viewed within Discord. This solves a long standing issue that has existed with Discord embeds that can be very frustrating. What should be a simple task of sending a link to a friend for them to watch a video becomes the friend clicking the link on their phone, opening it on a web browser, being redirected to an app store to download the app, or being prompted to log in to the website. With Antedium, links are automatically fixed so users can view the content without dealing with a website they may not use.
